In nature, deer are active animals, and their meat is well supplied with blood and low in fat. It also contains plenty of vitamins and minerals that support the healthy functioning of the nervous system, including magnesium and B vitamins, and of the skeletal system thanks to calcium and phosphorus. Venison is also rich in iron and easily digestible protein – so feel free to serve it to dogs with allergies.
