What is cistus? Grey cistus is a shrubby plant belonging to the rockrose family. Its Latin name is Cistus incanus. This plant contains many valuable substances.

Turkish cistus by Bemo contains a range of bioavailable flavonoids, fatty acids, tannins, vitamins, and polyphenols that have a beneficial effect on the immune and nervous systems.

Bemo cistus contains impressive amounts of polyphenols. Polyphenols, known as the vitamins of the 21st century (vitamin P), are phenolic compounds that act as antioxidants and strengthen the immune system's response.
